Oven Roast Tri-Tip
  • 3 lb. tri-tip steak
  • Olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh ground pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 450’F
  2. Drizzle olive oil on the bottom of a roasting pan
  3. Place the steak on the pan and drizzle with a little olive oil
  4. Sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper, to taste
  5. Roast in oven for 15 minutes
  6. Reduce oven heat to 350’F and cook until the meat is hot and slightly pink in the center, approximately 20-25 minutes
  7. Serve with homemade chimichurri sauce
