Homemade Apple Sauce
  • 8 medium apples - peeled, cored and sliced (we used local Fuji apples)
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup sugar (though you could go less depending on the variety of apple)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (though I think this could easily be cut in half - it makes for a VERY dark sauce)
  1. Place all ingredients in a stock pot
  2. Cover and cook on low
  3. Stir every 30 minutes
  4. Should be done in 2-3 hours
  5. ENJOY!!
