Edible Skeleton Bones
  • 2 packages ready-made pizza dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded dairy free cheese
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 1 decorative skull (optional)
  1. Heat oven to 400’
  2. Roll one package of dough flat (as close to an oval shape as you can get)
  3. Spread 1⁄2 of the pizza sauce on top
  4. Sprinkle with 1⁄2 of the cheese
  5. Top with 1 cup spinach leaves
  6. Fold into thirds
  7. Form a loaf shape with seam along one side
  8. Pinch edges closed to seal and transfer to a baking sheet
  9. Repeat with other package of dough and remaining ingredients
  10. Place this loaf on a second baking sheet
  11. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown
  12. Remove from baking sheets
  13. Place on wire rack to cool
  14. Cut each loaf into 1-inch slices
  15. Arrange on a large serving platter to resemble ribs with the skull at top (if desired)
