Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup wheat germ
  • ¼ cup honey – use something mild like clover strong flavors like orange don’t work for this recipe
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut optional
  • 2 cups gold raisins

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 350'
  • Grease 2-3 jelly roll pans (baking sheets w/ edges)
  • Mix oats, wheat germ and coconut in a large bowl
  • In a small saucepan, mix honey, oil, vanilla and spices
  • Cook until honey is clear and smooth
  • Add to oat mixture and blend well
  • Spread evenly onto baking sheets
  • Bake 15 minutes or until golden
  • Remove from oven and let cool
  • Once cool, mix in raisins & coconut
  • Store in an airtight container
