Ingredients

combined - homemade chicken & veggie stocks

water

medium carrots
peel & cut into 1/2" pieces
1
medium potato
peel and cut into 1/2" pieces
½
cup
chopped shallot
you can use onion if that's all you have
3
medium stocks celery
cut into 1/2" pieces
16
ounce
dried lentils
sorted & rinsed
6
ounce
Canadian bacon
coarsely chopped
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in crock pot, set on low - cook 8-9 hours until lentils are tender
Stir well before serving
