Comfort Food is Turkey Bean Hotdish

Servings 6 servings (1 1/2 cups each)

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup red onion diced
  • ½ pound ground turkey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 can each 16 ounces/each – kidney beans, butter beans, small white beans, black beans

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 300’ F
  • In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat brown onion and ground turkey with a little olive oil
  • Drain & rinse beans
  • Mix brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar and mustard together
  • Add beans and liquids to the ground turkey
  • Remove from heat and cover
  • Place in oven – bake for 1 ½ hours
