Large numbers of my family do not cook with salt for one reason or another. As a result, I decided to come up with my own spice blend that I call Heather’s No Salt Table Blend. I typically give out as gifts or to the family when they run out. I also sell this to friends. Though I’m always torn as to whether or not I should share this particular recipe. But I figure if I stick in in a Tips Tuesday post maybe people won’t read it – bad blogger. Bad, bad blogger.
Heather’s No Salt Table Blend
6 tbsp oregano
4 tsp marjoram
4 tsp savory
2 tsp thyme
1 tsp sage
7 tbsp onion powder
4 tbsp basil
6 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp rosemary
3 tsp black pepper
Mix together
Store in air tight containers
Make up labels and give as gifts or just keep in your pantry for your own use
