First off this is not a savory dish. This is 100% dessert – luxury dessert. Avocado pie is easy to make and if you like me LOVE avocado you’ll kick yourself for not making it sooner.
I’m from California, it would seem like a sin to not love avocados. Mixing them into a sweet pie, had me going crazy – I was all over it! Here is my tweak on the recipe I found many years ago. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. PS – this is REALLY GOOD, honest, really good.
AVOCADO PIE
1 ready made graham cracker crust
2 ripe avocados, I prefer Haas
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
14 oz can – dairy free sweetened condensed milk
Using a blender – mix dairy free sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice and avocado together until completely smooth and fluffy
Pour into pie crust
Refrigerate for about 1 hour until set
Slice and enjoy!
