I love making oven fried chicken and before developing my food allergies loved the ease of using shake-n-bake. So after playing around in the kitchen I came up with my own version that is tasty and family approved. I hope you like this recipe for homemade shake-n-bake as much as my family does.
Homemade Shake-n-Bake
1 cup gluten-free bread crumbs, I prefer using panko style
¼ dairy-free Parmesan shreds, chopped into small pieces
12/ tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
- Mix all ingredients together
- Coat chicken nuggets, tenders or other chicken pieces
- Bake until chicken is cooked all the way through
- I have been known to make extra of this so I can keep a bag ready to go in the freezer
