Tomato Bruschetta
This is a family favorite that we make every summer, and have even been known to make it year round when we can get good tomatoes. I think you’ll enjoy this recipe for its simplicity and deliciousness.
Tomato Bruschetta
2 tbsp. olive oil
5 cloves garlic, finely minced (I use a garlic press)
2 pt. red grape tomatoes, halved lengthwise
16 whole basil leaves, sliced thin and chopped
Kosher salt and pepper to taste
Toasted baguette, toast points, or plain crackers
- In a bowl mix tomato, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt & pepper – combine gently
- Serve immediately at room temperature over toasted baguette, toast points, or plain crackers
