Dairy Free Italian Fried Dough

Fried Dough – do I have your attention? How about now? Dairy Free Italian Fried Dough. Yes, no? NO??? Just kidding? Stop it!

Yummmmmmmm. After I’d tried this out a few times I made it for my mother. She said they tasted exactly how her Grandma used to make it. Total score for me.

If you’re ever looking for a great book on Italian baking I totally recommend Sweet Maria’s. This is where I found the below recipe, but I’ve given it a tweak to match my need for dairy free cooking. I know you’re going to love this as much as my family does.
