Creepy Crispies are Fun & Easy

Who doesn’t love crispy treats? Not anyone reading my blog! And certainly not anyone at my house. Here’s a recipe for creepy crispies that are fun and easy to make.

Whip up a batch of these for this year’s Halloween party. Your guests will love them and you for making them.

Creepy Crispies

3 tbsp non-dairy butter
1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows
6 cups crisped rice cereal
½ cup allergy safe orange & brown candy covered chocolates

Using a big saucepan melt non-dairy butter over low heat, add marshmallows
Stir until completely melted
Remove from heat
Add crisped rice cereal
Stir until well coated
Quickly add in colored candies
Stir quickly so the candy color doesn’t bleed into the marshmallow
Spray a 13 x 9 x 2 glass pan with non-stick cooking spray
Spray a spatula with non-stick spray or use wax paper – evenly press mixture into prepared pan, cool
Using a Halloween shaped cookie cutter – cut into shapes to serve
