Old Fashioned Shortbread

Old Fashioned Shortbread

A few years ago I was asked to cook some shortbread from a vintage cookbook for a fundraiser at the local women’s club. These old fashioned shortbread cookies were what I made. It was interesting to cook something from a really old cookbook. In the past they were not so big on directions, the way we are in modern times. I have given these a gluten-free dairy-free tweak. Happy baking.
