I used to do the publicity for Gothtober.com, and have even participated a few times. I made this edible Halloween cake SS Gothtober for the 2007 year’s theme.
It’s just a basic cake that I doctored up with a combination of light blue icing and blue colored jello. NOTE: if you aren’t planning on serving it right away – keep it in the fridge.
I then topped the cake with gummy ocean candies (note the creative writing on the life rings) and made a cardboard ocean liner that I covered with foil and drew on with a sharpie.
This would be a cute idea for an ocean theme birthday cake too!
